Let's Play Donkey Kong 64 - #4. Diddy and the Mine Shaft

We finished up with what DK needed to get done in Jungle Japes last video, and in this video we work on Diddy Kong, who has to venture inside of a mine shaft and go on a mine cart ride. That Kong has all the fun it seems. :P

a bit confusing for your reasoning, and hard to be following the same LP for me as normally I go by the person's voice, and since you have multiple LPs for the same game, you have the same voice in every one so its kinda complicated.

I've only done two LPs for this game, and the only reason why I did a 2nd one was because I wasn't completely satisfied with my original LP, not to mention that the original was also done with a webcam pointed at the tv screen, so even just visually, there is a very big difference between projects. Also, every video of the older project has "(OLD)" at the beginning of the video title to signify that it is from the old project.

Strangely enough, I don't think I forgot the move in either LP....maybe you are thinking of somebody else's LP? But even if it was mine, no, the different projects have completely different video, and to an extent, audio quality as well, so I honestly don't see where you are getting confused here. Also, something else to note, in the newer LP, all of the videos are over 11 minutes because the older project was done when the Youtube time limit was only 11 minutes.

You know what I realized watching this? Nintendo was kind of obsessed with the coal mine idea back in the Super NES and N64 days. They seriously put some sort of mine course in nearly every mainstream game. Now I don’t feel like they do the whole coal mine thing as much anymore, except for Wario’s Goldmine. =P It’s kind of funny actually. I can’t really think of what the craze is now though. Anyway, fantastic video as always love. =] <33 I’m almost caught up! =D

Yeah, I've noticed that too actually. Maybe Nintendo has a secret coal mine of their own and are using it in these games as inspiration? If so, it better be as pimp as Wario's Gold Mine. =P

This gets me to think that why couldn't Diddy just use his special move to get up that slope, I mean it looks possible right? I wish they should have made it that way!

@SlimKirby I also just remembered that I remembered in one LP you had went into the mine without his move and he said the stuff about Cranky, and then in this one you get the move before you go into the mine, but they had the same video quality to me

@SlimKirby oookay, it just felt like you were making all kinds of references to previous points in the LP that I had heard about stuff you had done or said, etc. and I thought I remembered you getting 3 gold bananas for DK in the level in the second LP before moving onto Diddy where when I was trying to find where I left off, you had gotten 4 bananas before you moved onto Diddy in the video I found, so it just confused me
