Basic Plot Summary:
Molly lives with her abusive father and little sister. One day the run away, and end up at a children's home. However, since their father kept her locked up all her life, Molly knows next to nothing about, well, life...

"Leave me alone, can't you see I'm busy?"
"Stupid girl!"
"School? I'M not buying you a whole uniform and books and all that rubbish just so you can learn your ABCs. You'll do just fine without it!"

JENNA
"Of course I wasn't HELPING the little brat! Why would I DO that?"
"Go, quickly! Before your dad gets here!"
"You're too young to understand... Just go!"

OFFICER BOYD
"What do we have here, then? You don't look old enough to be wandering around town at this time of night."
"Found them outside the station. The older one says she ran away from her dad."
"I suppose they'd better stay here, hadn't they?"

RYAN
"Who wants pizza?!"
"Lara! LARA! Come back here and apologize to Molly, NOW!"
"You're just too young to understand..."

KAYLEIGH
"I'm going to the park, Molly, you want to come along?"
"School's really small. The primary school and the high school are in one building."
"Guitar? It just takes practice. And a little bit of skill, I guess. Music's just my THING, like videogames are John's thing. "

JOHN
"Molly, she LOVES videogames, but she doesn't tell anyone. She was named after Lara Croft, for crying out loud!"
"You got an A on your test? Cool. Me? I just got to level 30 on Alien Invaders."
"I don't have a lot of friends, actually. It's not like I'm a loner, I just prefer to keep myself to myself, that's all."

LARA
"I'm not sharing a room with HER! Why can't she share with Benjamin, they're such good FRIENDS! Please, Ryan, PLEASE!"
"I still have my dad. He comes to visit me all the time. He usually brings me something when he comes to visit. He bought me this shirt..."
"Look, I know I can act like a real idiot. I can be really selfish, I know. But I didn't mean what I said..."

BENJAMIN
"Come on, I'll show you around! You're going to love it here, Molly!"
"Yeah, Matthew's my brother. We've been here for three years."
"Come on, Lara, don't be a spoil-sport, everyone else is playing! I guess she's just too cool for football..."

MATTHEW
"Bennanin... Benjanin... Benanmin..."
"Andy's my teddy beawr, he's my best fwiend."
"Wyan, can I go to school wiff Benanim and Molly?"

KATHERINE
"You can call my Kathy if it's easier. I know Katherine is pretty long."
"I love reading. Especially Roald Dahl."
"I'm not good at playing sports... I'm quite clumsy..."

PETER
"Hey, Molly, what did the dog say to the skunk?"
"I want to be a comedian! I COULD be! I'm funny, right? Right...?"
"Who wants to hear a ghost story?!"

OLIVIA
"There's a couple of kids from Somersham House in my brother's class. He always talks about one called Kayleigh..."
"I have a horse called Donna. She lives at the stables just outside town. Have you ever ridden a horse, Molly?"
"You guys have a cat at the children's home? Cool! Can I come see it sometime? Please?!"

SIMON
"I play basketball on a team. It's fun. I got MVP last game!"
"I know I'm sporty, but that doesn't make me thick, thanks..."
"It's the aliens, Benjamin, they're coming to get you... Watch your back!"

MISS KANE
"Okay, class, this is Molly Boyd. She's new, so I want you all to be nice to her. Where would you like to sit, Molly?"
"Right, the older children are doing exams today and they need this classroom, so let's go outside and play some games, shall we?"
"Who knows any good songs? Songs are the best way to learn, right?"
