@OhioYankee1862 - TYBALT is the best swordsman in the play. You know who says so several times in the first half of the play? MERCUTIO. You can see this easily if you read the play, which you should do some time. You should also learn how to spell "choreographed." Tybalt can get away with spitting on the kinsman of the Prince because Tybalt is ALSO a kinsman of the Prince. Duh. I have worked with the choreographer of this fight on a different production, and he's no fool, fool.

Not nearly as bad as . . . someone has said, though Romeo's intervention was a little oddly done and it did seem a bit too choreographed and not passionate enough. The bit with Mercutio drawing Tybalt's sword was creative.

And how did you die?

who ever coreographed this was is a fool.... Tybalt could never defeat Mercutio one on one. Mercutio is the best swordsman in the play. Romeo should have stepped in the way at some point giving Tybalt a cheap shot or a missed shot at Romeo that lands on Mercutio. And why the hell would Tybalt spit on the kinsman of the prince. Big mistake

good, the fight was a little too choreogrphed
thanks for the opinions, feedback is always greatly welcomed. in response, however, this was a high school production, not anything to get worked up about. i'd love to see productions you have been involved in. :-)
