A quick look of my new (to me) 1991 Discovery 200TDi before the engine is removed for transplant into my Series III SWB. I shall be removing the turbo giving me a conversion from the original standard 2.25 petrol to a diesel 200Di. The only problems I can see initially are a weeping rocker cover, and the alternator belt is a little loose although not slipping.

Details of the conversion, making the engine a 200Di can be seen at http://www.glencoyne.co.uk/200di.htm where Richard describes the conversion he has developed.
