Who knew?! My Dad and I were in Downtown Detroit this weekend attending the 2010 International Auto Show. We were just cruising around town afterward and found a male ring-necked pheasant in some weeds in the Warehouse District (there were actually two males but they were both on different sides of the street so I couldn't film the two of them together).

  • the animals WILL come back to areas with no enemies ......watch out for the next wave, which is coyotes or wolves.... also wild boars !

  • Detroit has plenty of pheasants! When I was 13 living on the Eastside of the D I remember chasing them in one of the vacant lots that were empty and they would all fly in the air. I am now 22 and I see that the pheasants are here to stay for sure.

  • haha....that's awesome. however, i would not want to eat that one. he could be eating just about anything down there.
