@vesper8 oh just thought I would post again because I've now been an owner of a Catgenie 120 for 1 full week. I bought it brand new. I have 3 cats and all 3 of them are using it now for all their business.

Guess what.. within 3 days of having it.. I had my first cooked poop incident. And the next day.. same thing again. I read that for some people this only happens once a month or even every two months. But right now I'm 2 in 5 days. And it smells baaaad when it happens!!

hey I'm not dissing the catgenie, I haven't bought mine yet but I am about to and it sounds great. But from extensive reading in different forums, it does have the occasional terrible smell which from testimonies I've read, occurs when a piece of poop is missed during the pick-up and is then "cooked" during drying. I have read this very thing happening by at least 30 different people. It may occur less often with the latest revision of the cat genie but it happens. You've just been lucky so far

@vesper8 Wrong on two counts. The Cat Genie goes through several pick-up cycles, it usually gets all of it. Sometimes a small piece falls through the scooper tines and it doesn't smell during drying. The only time it smells is when it crushes the poop to flush it, but once the flush cycle is done it doesn't smell. I've had my cat genie for 4 months and I am never going back to litter boxes again.

lmao.. at 24 seconds we can see that it missed some of the poop... if they had gone through with the cycle they would have realized the horrible smell the catgenie creates when it misses a tiny bit of poop and bakes it.

"you'll never have to smell cat litter again" yea right!!!
