Better Than High

i've being a loyal season pass holder for mt high since '02. but before the season started in 08-09, i broke my ankle in an unfortunate football accident thanksgiving day. i contacted mt high and tried to get a refund or voucher or something for my mt high pass since the season has yet to begin and i was incapable of using it anytime during the season, but even with a doctor's note they denied me. their lack of customer appreciation has led me to never go back since. who wants to go to bear, baldy or mammoth?

you might as well go and hit up big bear to complete the local mountain tour. but if you have the time and willingness to drive up to mammoth, i'd highly suggest that over any of these mountains.

@girltart67 this is a socal local mountain (mt baldy). it's a great riding mountain especially right after a storm cause pretty much the whole mountain is open (groomed or not) the mountain becomes a free for all.

whistler, same time next year?

@MrCoolforever13 even if he breaks it at mt high it doesnt matter, if he signs the contract then it clears the mountain of liability. although im sure he purchased the pass beforehand online which still doesnt matter, a broken ankle should have you out for 4 weeks (average) leaving you plenty of time to rehab since he said he broke it before the season even started. if it takes you out for full season then that ankle better have been borderline amputated or a muscle tear.

i wanna know where this is. it seems to be built on a better layout than high. (though high was my first mtn to ride on) i didnt like high because of how they layed out the intermediate/am park on the more elevated mtn side. forcing you to go down some nasty slopes if you wernt good at riding steep stuff.
