@FreeMTrider Perhaps, but it was definitely experimentation as well. Every album they make goes through some sort of change. In your case, you could technically say that British Steel was a sellout move to be more mainstream.

Turbo was their weakest album. They sold out a little probably because of their managment influence. They were non-stop touring at this point and at a high point and wanted to keep up with the hair band craze.
