His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass movie review

Once again I had the pleasure of seeing a movie a week before it's actual release date. I highly recomend seeing this movie but I more recomend reading the book series =]

i loved the movie but the ending was terrible. i dearly hope they make another 2.

on a stranger note, you might think that this is highly inappropriate. but your incredibly hot. i mean your totally cunt, like 28weeks later (not half as good as 28 days but still) and you like his dark materials.

The Books were great. I've read them twice. The movie was ok. I dont see how they would ever be able to make the following books into films though. Way way too contraversal. ....Ohh and 28dayslater>28weekslater... 8D

You guys do know that Chris Weitz wants to release a director's cut and he said even without the cut ending it would run 2 hours and 45 minutes. I HOPE HE RELEASES IT WITH THE ENDING! :(

I agree. I just saw the movie. The movie is not that bad but considering its based on the book which is totally evil in my opinion it is bad. The book is really horrible.

they were all cast well except for lyra, dakota looks NOTHING like how lyra was described in the book.
