@tamukuriran Thanks for your warm comment. I know lots of people in Japan still love and miss Ms Zhou, I watched Ms Yoshiko Yamaguchi's biography drama on TV in Japan years ago, she recalled about covering Ms Zhou's song, I'm sure she's a fan of Ms Zhou too.
I agree with you, Ms Zhou lived a greatest life and will be missed forever...

Most elegant, gorgeous, classy Chinese woman of all time, will be missed forever....Every time when I walk in the streets of Paris, I think of Shanghai in the 30s and Ms Zhou, though I've never been to Shanghai, and Ms Zhou was not my generation...

可以肯定的是1957年反右是比文革更残酷的政治运动。
周璇幸运的是死在了1957年，否则结局更加凄惨； 不知道大家注意到没有，沙发上坐在周璇旁边的分别是 上官云珠和赵丹。
上官云珠那时候努力靠近党，接演了 南海风云 中的护士长形象，并且受到了老毛接见。 但是到了1968年照样跳楼自杀，惨不忍睹。
赵丹坚持到了文革后，但是也很快就癌症去世。

科学家，艺术家，文学家，这些都是塑造民族精神和灵魂的人物，我实在搞不懂为何中共对这些民族的精英蹂躏如此？！就凭这一点，我永远不会原谅共产党！
