Short G Major2 Demo

Here is a very short demo featuring a basic solo patch using the GMajor2 with my OD100se+ with WhompII. I am using my Suhr Modern with factory installed Duncan Blackouts.
As usual I'm recording the audio portion with the Edirol R09-HR.

I also trying an MXR Microamp instead of my usual Zakk Wylde O/D. The Micoramp seems much more transparent and doesn't cut any bottom or add mids to the original tone.

@guyshocks They are fine units for the price. I was having crashing issues with mine but |I took it apart and resaeting the chip and it seems fine now.

@venomousfinger The G Force is a older unit, higher quality in my opinion however even though you can do trailing delays on the G-Force it's a pain in the ass. The G Major and G Major II are a brezze to do trails with. The G Major II and GForce have intelligent pitch shifting.

I have to say it Mark, your tone sounds much, much better without the Zakk OD. A lot cleaner and smoother.

I've always thought that with as much gain as you've dialed in on the OD100SE+, all you needed was a cleanish boost like the Microamp or the Xotic RC Booster

Mark: Is your GMajor2 set to +4db ("pro") or -10db ("consumer")? Bacause its in de loop of the Suhr Minimix..

hello!! i'd like to ask.. considering that g-major's outputs are 1/4 balanced and a guitar amp's fx loop is usually unbalanced.. is there a problem in the connections or the set-up is the usual one?

@samhillband Thanx Bro! I built my new rig: Marshall JVM 410H Marshall 1936 2x12 V30 Furman PL-PLUS E Korg DTR 2000 ISP Decimator ProRack G G Major II Ground Control Pro. Cables? In my country its hard to find Mogami cable. Other brand? What do you think of this set-up? Thanx again Bro!
