The video in a nutshell is about a lady whose losese one thing after the other.... her beauty ... her love ... and finally a roof over her head. In the end she only has those memories of her golden days to cling to... decpicted by the paintings she has when she leaves.

@indiangirlontherun Samina Peerzada is a courtesan who falls in love with the guy you are seeing in sherwani (Faisal) and they marry (pparently) but he wants her to continue being a courtesan after marriage/love-affair to earn livelihood. she refuse and he leaves. i wonder why was a lawsuit filed against her but it is filed so this lawyer comes over and removes her from her house.

I figured the guy is the woman's son in the beginning but at 1:34 when she blushes and says "aap bhi",I was like WHOA, that does not seem like a mother-son conversation. So, I assume he's her husband??Is he supposed to be dead?

I have watched the video of this song a number of times in the hope that I will understand the video but in vain. I would have attributed this to cultural differences but I am an Indian,it shouldn't be hard for me!!! Can anyone explain what the video is about because I feel like a retard not understanding it!!! :(
