Nice laptop but me i bough customized pc and it cost me 800$ and i run Crysis on Very high NO LAG ^ ^

The reason he went with the laptop is probably because he is on the move and needs portability. No1 can argue that desktops are the better choice. And Alienware does make good computers, but the only people who buy Alienware, are the ones who know nothing about computers and can't build a custom PC themselves, which are usually better in price and performance.

@Piegoose lol oops I was wayyyyy of. I play on 1920x1080 on high settings with 4x AA. get around 40 fps

@Piegoose Oh and its on 1920x1080

I have a desktop that cost around $650 and I can play on Very High with all AA on and get around 20 fps. Not as good as yours, but $650 compared to $1300 seems like a big difference.

I cant get it why you would spend 1000$ on a laptop if you could buy a portable desktop for 700$ with 2x better specs.. ye maybe you cant play it in the public transport or whatever.. but I am so sure the battery wouldnt even hold 3hours of playing that game.

I got a laptop for 1000 and it can play this on the max settings cept antialiasing is only at 4x. I get around 30 fps If a thousand dollar laptop can play the most demanding game at its max settings, why on earth would anyone ever spend much more on one?

there is no $1000 laptop that can max crysis at anything over 800x600 let alone with 4x AA. the best is a asus one that has a gtx260 which is a 8800gt. and that can max it at 720p at best. at the time i bought my laptop it would have cost over $2000

By the way the computer I have is an asus and my resolution is only at 720p. It runs all the other settings at very high with 30FPS but when the action gets heavy I would prefer them to be at just high.

yeah see thats what i said. the asus one that just came out has a 8800gt to my 9600gt. this laptop is 2 years old now. and it was $1300 only becaue i have a warentee. at that time there was no way to max crysis unless you wanted to spend $2000 or more on a laptop

People are still paying 3000 for gaming computers when the most demanding game can be played near perfect on a LAPTOP for a third of the price. I'm asking why someone would spend that much.
TheSleazySaint 2 years ago
the people who spend that much are idiots or enthusiests.
