"So can you tell him?" I squeamishly asked.
"Sure." she said.

We finished our agonizing hike and each of us were begging for a place to rest. I prayed that Camille did as asked, and if she did, maybe, I would have a boy friend by the end of the week; even sooner if I'm lucky.
"So did you tell him?" I hurriedly asked.
"Nope." she replied.
"What?" I freaked.
"I told Logan to."
"WHAT!?" I screamed.
"What?" she questioned.
"I never wanted you to tell anyone else! I trusted you to tell Kendall that I like him. Not Logan. This isn't a game of telephone Camille!"
"Sorry, but I thought it would be better if one of his buy friends told him instead of me."
I didn't know what to say. I couldn't believe Camille would expose my secret to Logan like that. I was pissed, yet worried if my message ever made it to Kendall. I walked away and left the problem hanging.

The next day was awkward and silent. I didn't talk to Camille or Kendall. I felt lonely and sad. I have never felt this way about someone-ever.
I was scared to talk to Camille, just because it thought she was mad at me, plus I wouldn't know what to say.
I was scared to talk to Kendall thinking he got the message, it would just be weird and unfriendly.
After gym was over, I was in my room on my computer when I got a text.
It was Kendall. I thought-should I talk to him? I did and our convo was relieving.
We got everything straightened out. It started off by me telling him an incredibly long story about what happened over the past few days. And he told me that he likes me.
After, I felt glad that Kendall texted me. He is so sweet like that. My emotions were mixed-glad, relieved, joyful, apprehensive, dreamy, scared, awkward, psyched.

The next day-Friday- first thing I did was run up to Camille and apologize.
"Camille!" I wrapped my arms around her. "I'm so sorry for what happened. I was just mad."
"I know it's OK." she said.
So everything was good with me and Camille. But not with Kendall. I still don't know if he was goin to ask me out or not. I mean shouldn't he? We texted and all yesterday-we now understand each other's feelings right?
During one of our breaks we get during gym, Kendall came over to me and sat cross-legged in front of me.
"Hey." he said.
"Hi." I mumbled.
"So I like you a lot, but.... I'm not allowed to date."
I looked up and it was quiet for a moment.
"I'm sorry. I just wanted you to know." He bluntly said. He got up and walked away to go talk to Carlos, Logan, and James.
My lip quivered and my eyes watered. I quickly wiped them away. I felt broken. Dumped before our relationship even blasted off. Soon Camille over to me. She probably saw me looking sad and wanted to make sure I was OK.
"Hey. Are you alright?" she said standing beside me and looking down at me.
"Fine."
"Liar." she followed my answer.
I smiled. "Can I be alone?"
"Of course." She said. "Wait, did he tell you he cant date?"
"How do you know that?" I questioned.
"He told me."
"Oh."
"Aw... baby. I'm sorry. I'm going to tell him he broke your heart." Camille started for Kendall, but I stopped her.
"Camille! Don't." I stopped her in her tracks.
"Fine." Camille left, but she still went up to Kendall.
"KENDALL!" Camille smacked him across the face. "How could you?! How could you say you don't love me! I'm about to leave for a month and you turn me down?!"
"What was that for?!" Kendall wailed rubbing his slapped cheek.
"I'm auditioning for a movie this afternoon, wish me luck." Camille smiled and turned to look at me. I was smiling too because I knew that Camille was trying to make me feel better by giving Kendall a hard time. It worked.
