N00b question here: do you unlock new tracks for the quick race section if you play trough the campain?
-
You don't have to use airbrakes to take corners - instead slide up the outside sidewall (by holding nose up) and you can take any corner at ANY speed. Also, if you get the correct sequence of power ups you can slide up the sidewall and use boost to perform jumps MASSIVE jumps clear across the map.

If there's a game that deserves suck an in-depth tutorial like this that is Wipeout. I absolutely love the game but I am terrible at it xD this is really useful, thanks!

This deserves more views, it's incredibly in-depth yet remains simple and really helps ease newcomers into the harsh world of Wipeout.

Dude, thanks a lot for the tutorial. It helps alot. I have just one question/doubt. I didn't understand when I should turn near the inside of a turn and when I should turn near the outside of a turn. Can you please explain that to me?
PS: Sorry for my english, I'm portuguese.

@TigasFMS The idea is to start on the outside of a corner, swing over to the inside as you go through, then emerge again on the outside. That way you end up taking the straightest possible path through a corner and losing as little speed as possible

This is a brilliant tutorial. One quick note, during the racing line comparison, the vehicle racing the good racing line also hits a speed pad, whereas the other does not. This also accounts for some of the difference in speed through the section. Regarding mines and bombs, is it worth mentioning that it can be useful to place them over speed pads and weapon pads in order to help maintain a lead?

@rsmspencer Yeah, I noticed that shortly after I uploaded, decided against re-recording it due to the time it would take to encode it all again. However, one could also argue that I hit the speed pad *because* I followed a good racing line ;)
