This is a beautiful scene from the animated adaptation of "The BFG". I can't believe I forgot about it. Thank goodness my sisters asked me to pull it up. So here you can enjoy the sheer beauty of this scene by itself (the film's great and all, but 87 minutes might take too much out of your day) The song is SEE TITLE and it's sung by Sharon Campbell.

AW, I'V ALWAYS LOVED THIS SONG. THIS FILM WAS ONE OF MY FAVOURITES AS A KID. BRINGS BACK MEMORIES.

Though I always thought that Sophie looks more like a boy then girl.

I saw an interview with Roald Dahl on TV once with his granddaughter Sophie, and he said that he based the character of Sophie on her. She actually looked like Sophie in the movie, short red hair and classes, etc, which I think is probably why she looks like that in the film, but she is now a famous model and looks totally different!

My school just had a house drama competition and my house had the BFG to perform. This song played and I just had to come home and watch it. Brought back memories of all my childhood films ;)
