I was born in 83 so I missed out in it all. Looking back at the music and how people dressed is cool tho......it seemed to be such a free and expressive time. Definetley better music than today.......I am revolted by almost everything on the radio these days..........the 90's grunge period was good too. ole Kurt brought something real to the scene.

@skylerfeathersworth I missed out on a lot of it for various reasons- but when i got out of the house and in the army- it started opening up big time. maybe it was because that was when my horizons broadened suddenly, but i really think the 80s was just the perfect time so be a teen or twenty-something.
Just think of the great pictures your kids can look at an laugh at your hair and clothes! (they really were a bit contrived, eh? ) But oh man, some of the outfits the girls wore... oh man.

i love gary numans middle phase just as much. I CAN'T STOP is one of my fave songs and one of my fave albums!
although that other guitarist does look a pratt in those shorts...
