Any foreigner learning seriously indonesian dances (like balinese) gets my utmost respect. And here there are three. Wow.
I can imagine how difficult it must have been learning to move parts of your body in such ways to unfamiliar positions while keeping up with the exacting rhythm. Not to mention the different counting measure.
Same respect goes to the gamelan'ers' as well.
