@TheKuroiSheep "Faggot" I have learnt can mean a bundle of anything, so thank you for educating me. However, using it as a single-word sentence doesn't make much sense in my mind. Any word with mulitple meanings has room for people to view it differently - surely you see people will perceive it as an insult when it's a word used primarily as one?
I don't "worship" any musician - I no fanboy/girl, and agree Mana isn't the whole band. But, what's so wrong with needing to belong? We all do somehow.
-
@martynleon: If you view it as homophobic, then you have some latent and suppressed thoughts in your own head. I'm quite comfortable with who I am now, but what I've noticed is that most people who get into this band are flocking to a fad they can "belong" in because they don't believe in themselves. I believe in myself. That says more than any of you can comprehend.

@TheKuroiSheep As far as I'm aware "faggot" is a bundle, but only of sticks used for lighting a fire. So using it as an insult is almost certainly homophobic, and can hardly be defended as being other than that: most people will understand it as homophobia.

@RozenHeim yes...but.. I was actually just telling my sister the opposite... a lot of the stuff "does" sound the same, but I was talking about how much I loved their sound. And how I hate when bands have 2-3 really good songs, but then the other ones arent so good. and this way, if you like 1 song. your guarenteed to like the rest. and you don't even have to listen to the same song over and over again. each song is little-to very different if you listen enough times.

@RozenHeim If you read the last page of the album booklet,he does have professional masters and mixing engineers,he only produces his music and all but he does this professionaly. sorry for my writing

in the beginning it sounds a little bit like deflower
Mana seems to be stuck within the same sound with each album. Although, I'll admit that the organ, harpsichord, choir, and other dueling sounds are his signature, his music just stays within one overall tone; there's a lack of depth. I'll give Mana credit for the sound he's engineered, but he needs to move onto something new. Also, he should definitely consider getting a professional mix and master, not that his mixes and masters aren't bad, but there's room for more creative development.
