@dawss Also, Ray Davies dated Candy Darling. Candy Darling was a transgender. There’s nothing wrong with “gay songs” there are a lot of songs that have something to do with homosexuality or are written and/or performed my gay individuals. @dawss You have your facts wrong, this song is about a man falling in love with a transvestite. The words are “Girls will be boys and boys will be girls” It was written after their manager got drunk at a club and started dancing with a transvestite.

@shaniaisgod I have the ORIGINAL version of this song on a 33 record. The original is about Coca Cola but apparently they were made to change it and it became Cherry Cola. I would"'t think there'd be too many copies around of this now.
