I hated Quincy Carter. He sucked, and worse, he has been accused (more than once) of throwing this game. Oh well, he is gone, Richt is here, and Georgia has won 5 in a row against the Cocks.

i'm a georgia fan, and i just hated quincy carter. he was okay in college but he's just really washed up now. dj shockley was a much better leader.

I don't know if he threw the game or not, but I was at UGA in 2000 and can tell you that the rumors of Quincy's gambling associates were deafening. I also know, on expert authority, that the Thursday before this game, Quincy and Jasper Sanks were in a club in Atl coked out of their heads. Good riddance Q, Sanks, Donnan, and the whole bunch. That 2000 team was the biggest pissing away of talent in UGA's history. GATA!!! Go Dawgs!

I am a huge Georgia guy, and there is no way Carter would have "thrown" this game. He is a competitor and a teammate. What guy do you know that would purposely lose the game for his team, much less himself? Quincy has more pride than that. He just had an off day that day, and South Carolina took advantage of it. Congratulations to them for the win, they haven't beaten the Dawgs in Columbia since.

right...I guess Stafford threw last week's game as well, b/c his passes were off. I guess everytime USC beats UGA, the dawgs gave it away. No, the Gamecocks never earned it.
