Imagined, you are right about the French kings. The model between the French and English monarchies was very different. Starkey's comment really speaks to the much sounder British model of leadership.

If your browse through my videos, you will find republican comments but those republicans who have a legitimate point(s). I do not, however, allow profanity or anything of the sort on my videos, even my monarchists. And as for "undemocratic," I would love to debate with you on the subject.
