I had the great privilege of knowing some guys from the League Of Revolutionary Black Workers when I was a kid in Detroit. They were among the clearest and most advanced thinkers I have ever known.

Sounds like you're describing capitalism man. Capitalists claim they protect you, provide you with a job, extort you, and then tell you without them you'd have nothing.

If you focus on only external oppression, which certainly does exist, you scratch the surface. If all the external systems of oppression fall away, human beings--regardless of race or social standing--have within them many positive qualities and attributes such as love, compassion, generosity, etc. We also posses qualities that are harmful to ourselves and others: greed, jealously, fear etc. This is where the deeper work to free ourselves from self-imposed oppression and self-hate truly begins.

...and since there is NO progress ...or evolution... with an "E" ...then nothing is going to change... simple... and as far as I'm concerned... those so called American cars are ONLY purchased through plastic advertising... hmmm... and it's the same way that BurgerKing hides behind the American flag... and it's just shameful... and every one knows it...
