  • There are NO running joints, Panterex. And there are no weak spots anywhere in the wall.

  • nice work - question: how high can your redi rock walls retain up to? Do you lay it out like say limestone retaining wall? Cheers

  • @mothelian

Using a GRAVITY wall (no geogrid) Redi-Rock walls can be made 10 to 15 ft high. But that involves using the largest block they make (5 feet from front to back), and using special backfill that reduces the lateral pressure on the wall.

For a geogrid-reinforced wall, there really is no limit to how high of a wall you can make. I shouldn't say there's "no limit", but there are geogrid walls in the 50 to 100 ft high range.

If you are in the UK, see Freed Construction. Cheers, Joe

  • You doing good talking about all the advantages of this wall, but if you're really Retaining Wall Expert, why on earth did you build that wall with so many running joints?!?! That clearly is a weak spot, or should I say spotS of the wall, especialy RETAINING WALL of that size! Awful...
