Check out this 1964 Amphicar on its maiden voyage after being restored and out of commission for more than 25 years. Gordon Hall of Milton-Freewater is the driver with Paul Seaquist as the passenger. The trip happened in Wallowa Lake, Oregon during the summer of 2009.

Way back in '65 or so my father took my mother and me out on one of those down here on the Potomac River, just outside of Washington, DC. I still remember the big ol' rooster tail...of course I was only 5 so EVRYTHING seemed huge. I do remember being very uneasy and thankful of making landfall again as I couldn't swim and I thought, at the ripe old age of 5, that in case things went wrong, that skill might come in kinda handy...

I love the music you chose. Great video. Also, good decision to speed up the video. It keeps the pacing from getting boring.

Nice concept, I came up with the idea a while back, but apparently someone came up with it already :-)
