check the oil and if the oil is yellow: then you got a blown head gasket, if the oil is not yellow but brown or black, check your tailpipe and see if its smoking real heavy, thenyou got a warped head around the exhaust valve, meaning you need a new cylinder head and gasket, hope this information is helpful

All I would suggest is go to a Garage and get a pressure tester hooked up. Sadly, the MR2 featured n the vid isno longer with us. When I say that, I dont mean its dead, I mean its moved one. It was a joint car between me and my best friend. It was registerd to him. I just helped pay for it and maintain it.
It got sold in Febuary. Its still going strong as far as I know.
I am getting one in Autumn. I want a Mk2b in Mica blue. Must be in mint condition.
Hope you get yours sorted.

Its sorted. The head gasket was blown at number 4 cylinder.
The exhaust manifild was blowing as well. I knew it was blowing a bit, but didnt have a clue to what extent. The difference now its all been done (as well as the cam belt and tensioner etc) is unreal.
