No offence mate but i dont get blokes who rip up to the bumper of a car like a noble. In traffic between 40 and 60 anyone can keep up, but as im sure your now aware as soon as a nice strech of open road comes along you may aswell be in reverse!! I sergest next time you get behind one, you pull over in a lay by and turn your engine off as a sighn of respect for a propper motor!

I'd really like to have another encouter as i've now spent alot of time on track & have learned how to drive my car fast & have significantly improved it's Power to weight. He's probably gonna still fuck off mind you, but not quite as severely. Earlier this month at the dyno i made 318bhp/1285 kg;247bhp/tonne, however the M12 GTO has 352 BHP/1080 kg;325bhp/tonne!!!

N.B. I don't doubt that the Noble is fast. A fibreglass kit car, with a Mondeo engine is not a "propper motor" in my book.

Cheers dude, It made 282 BHP at the flywheel when i had it down at Surrey Rolling Road last year. I'm planing on hopefully taking it up to 320ish when i fit my boost controller & a few other little bits. At the moment all my efforts are going into tuning the chassi, as i do some competitions in the car & the more i can get out of the handeling the better.

@Zico31 TVR make proper motors, that noble is a Lotus elise with a bigger engine and there both the equivalent of mot'd go karts.

@BestDanTheMan80 He's driving a Celica GT4... hows that not a "proper motor" ? Its far better then the shite that your average motorists drive and that noble is far from "proper" its a roadworthy go kart.

@gidzmasterflash What is a proper motor then? Its not a 'mondeo' engine btw, its derived from the block, thats all and nothing wrong with that. Ok the looks are not the most pleasant but to me a proper car is an out and out drivers car.. which is what the Noble is, and its right up there in my top ten cars that I'd love to own. Performance bargain of the decade?
