The City of Houston was a cargo ship that sank during a Hurricane in the late 1800's on Frying Pan Shoals near Southport North Carolina. It was rediscovered around 1984 and divers visit it most weekends during the spring, summer and early fall. Artifacts from the ship can be seen at the Southport Maritime Museum.
