Hey thanks for your tips since i have discovered your videos you have helped me a lot, now i average 8-10 points on my middle school team (I try not to be a ball hog ) and you guys have helped me improve my game all around

@goldenhawk33 Which thumb? You must mean the Assist Hand Thumb. If that is the case you need to spend a lot of time getting rid of this because it really screws up your accuracy. One way to do this is to shoot with that thumb pinching your index finger. It may take a week or two to get this working for you.

@mxftw15 No! The ball should be released off the first and second fingers for the best control.

@onemogain23 Imagine aiming a pistol or rifle. If you hold the weapon out and off your shoulder you have no sight line to line up the shot. With the ball in front of your shooting eye you have a much better reference for the shot. Eye + ball + target = SCORE!
