Shot in Long Beach, CA on June 11, 2010 with most of the cast in attendance, including Michael C Hall as Dexter Morgan. This is footage of the season 5 premiere episode shoot outside Dexter and Rita's house just hours after the ending of the Season 4 finale.

@geekhater360 nahh the whole show is filmed in CA. if you ever watch interviews with michael c hall, there's one where he jokes about running out of finding places in CA that look enough like Miami

@TTTTTURTLE a friend of mine lives down the street and drives or walks by it all the time. Whenever she sees signs posted on that block in the days leading up to shooting, she knows when they're going to shoot. So we just showed up and hung out. We were so close to the house at one point that one of the crew offered us access to the coffee and catering that night. But we decided not to push our luck.
