Dawid Tomaszewski's Masked Mavens Spring 2012: FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland | FashionTV FTV

http://www.FTV.com/videos LODZ - FashionTV highlights some of the best from Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland for Spring/Summer 2012 including the line from Dawid Tomaszewski, a Polish-born designer who also lived in London and Berlin. A far cry from his Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which showcased tweed, ruffles, and knits against strobe lights and frenetic piano sound in the background, Tomaszewski's Spring/Summer 2012 collection was neutral colors and light dresses. Faces of models were covered with a crocheted mask, similar to the coverings on models at the recent Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2012 showing in Paris (we're wondering if the designer got his idea there.) Beige colors turned to fuchsia as models strutted down the runway in sleeveless pink dresses with floral embroidery at the waist. Some models had crystals featured at their collar and wore masks similar to the sci-fi ones at the Gareth Pugh SS 2012 show, which also took place in Paris.
