Amtrak # 14 actually arrives ON TIME into the Olympia / Lacey Amtrak station He makes a 34 SECOND stop YES!!! 34 seconds. He then highballs north towards Seattle, He meets southbound Amtrak train # 509 at C.P. 31. 509 then crosses over and enters the station wher my camera battery dies.
Please excuse my commentary and my lack of tripod i didnt have enough time to set it up.

  • Was the Defect Detector right there at the switch?

  • Its about a mile and a half down but by the time the train passes over it and it reports he's pretty close to the switch.

  • they always leave the baggage car door open?

  • I thought the same thing. I have heard of cases of luggage going flying before. I think they dont bother between short distance stations and baggage doors that are hard to open and close.

  • Maybe you might know, can't find information anywhere. Do you know why Amtrak stopped printing "SUPERLINER" on the side of their cars? I miss it, I remember before I started flying I took the train a lot. Empire Builder from Lacey via Seattle then to Chicago all the way to Philadelphia.

  • amtrak on time wtf?!?

  • Atill good shots, glad to see the UP got them on time.
