Heavens to Murgatroid! This was simply amazing! I've always loved this song...and this version of it is TOP NOTCH in every dept! Not only is Fanny a beautiful lady..but she has a voice to match! Have played this over and over. From 1.50 to 3.04 and again between 6.29 and the finish is especially lovely slow swinging vocal - I love it! Unfortunately, there is something not quite right with the recording level. Ms. Werner's voice seems to miss low frequencies. Perhaps she is holding the microphone too close or that the amplification is set wrong. Even so, this is cool jazz at its very best. The quartet + fugal horn is fabulous!
