hi i live i england i planted two plants in spring never expected them to do anything in my green house but they took of and now im looking at a decent yield though the 1 thing that concerns me is winters here its getting colder each day at the minute were a little above 0oc just wondering how much cold they can take before they die

@brendanpallett Pot plants can survive below freezing temps, but only if it's a little below freezing and not for very long (2 hours or less). Otherwise they will die.

2009 was a bad year for me in Ontario Canada also. My plant were 4-6 feet tall though.3-4 inch stocks at base full bark. From what i see you dont have a clue.

@BULLOCK1973 I do have a clue. Bad soil and bad weather. Other years I've had 12 and 13 foot plants. My first concern is find a place nobody will find. I've hauled good dirt into the woods to fill dug out holes to grow in, but when May and June are cold and cloudy, the plants get programmed to keep their heads low and never do flurish.
A warm, sunny spring is as important as good soil and rainfall to get them to grown well.
This year is a perfect example. Bad Spring = bad harvest.
