http://www.worldwone.com In a remarkable feat of coordination and logistics the Olympic Torch reaches the peak of Everest 2 hours earlier than expected. Live coverage. In a party atmosphere the climbers were "shouting and singing."
The final torch bearer is a Tibetan woman, at 21 the youngest member of the team and one of two Tibetans in the 12 strong summit team. The climbers were selected after a nationwide search for Mountaineer students who had already climbed well at 6000 meters. Initially 50 were chosen before deciding on the final 31, 22 of whom were from Tibet.

The Olympic Torch reaches the top of the world, the peak of Mount Everest carried by a superb Chinese team; echoing the Olympic moto: citius, altius, fortius; swifter HIGHER stronger.

  • Beautiful!! This is the most amazing torch relay we will ever get to see, on the top of the world!!

  • Yes many Tibetan families raised the flag of China. But that does not surprise me, of course they are proud because its their country that organizes the Olympics! I would also be very proud if my country organizes the Olympics.

The Olympics will be great, support from Holland!

  • Fake, Fake...Free Tibet!!

  • Free Tibet!

  • The word "fake" should be banned from youtube... fake this, fake that, everything is fake for some idiots here...

  • fake

  • She could remove her mask because she was not on the summit. Nothing WOW about Chinese propaganda.

  • Only the Chinese would fake a summit on Mount Everest. They certainly could not lose face in front of the whole world for something so important. Where are the mementos other climbers leave behind. Why can't you see any other peaks to prove they were on top? Why were climbers kept away in Nepal for three days until the Chinese "summited"? Why were outside journalists with the Chinese team kept off the summit, and had their mobile phones confiscated and kept at Camp 3? Chinese liars!!!!!!

  • your right...and thats an aweful lot of people to summit all at once...those dang chinese...although they make good pork-fried-rice

  • She doesn't look happy at all. Normally, people smile and cheer. But not the Tibetan women. How come?

The standard slogans were certainly forced.

Note, there's no panoramic vieuw. It's taped near by a base camp. Also on 1 vid you see prayers flags laying on the ground. Impossible if you are supposed to be on the top, that hight the wind would be very strong.

It's orchestrated, like the riot in Tibet, the Chinese 'rent-a-crowd'.
