Cherryholmes performs "This is My Son" at WNRN in Charlottesville, Virginia on April 4, 2009 before their show at The Paramount Theater. Song appears on their album "Cherryholmes III: Don't Believe". Make sure subscribe to our videos!
Except a man be born again he cannot see the kindom of heaven,If you meet me and forget, you have lost nothing. But if you meet JESUS and forget, you have lost everything.
@mybabyneco Lol - who cares if people refer to God in their comments? Maybe they have strong faith and they believe the things in their life are related to that faith. Does it hurt you that they believe that or say that? Live and let live my friend.
Lovely song with hearfelt lyrics. I've now ordered the album which this song is on. I have two sons but I'm so relieved they didn't join the army and I have such compassion for parents of sons who fight for their country and world peace. My only criticism of this version is the heavy sound of the two fiddles as they come out too loud and override Cia's vocals in places. I'm hoping on the album their sound will be more subdued.
@chirality2 I saw them at the Opry as well. They sang this song at the Ryman. Talk about hearing a pin drop. They got a rare standing ovation and had the audience in tears.
I appreciate this song more than you can imagine. My only son went off to war in Iraq
, and on 06/07/2007 he was shot. Thank God he survived and after 14 surgeries will be coming home to us soon.
