@EnglishChannel1 funnily enough, she also threatened to move out of Scotland if the SNP won power in 2007.
Strangely, after the SNP did win, she decided not to. Likewise when the SNP won last year, she didn't move either. I hope she'll forgive me for thinking she's a liar trying to suck up to her tory pals in London.

Michelle Mone makes most of her money from Asian sweat shops so I doubt independence will make her any poorer. P.S the population of Scotland consists of more than Mone and Salmond.
Michelle Mone, Scottish lingerie tycoon, who grew up in Glasgow's east end but made millions through enterprise and hard work, says she thinks Scotland going it alone would be a bad thing and she will move to England if independance is achieved. Alex Salmond might be the only person left in Scotland once independance happens. The Scots will all probably move to England. Scots are similar to the Irish, they chose to move to countries they dont like, then go on about how great it was back home.

@EnglishChannel1 Also, her fear was about business, but her uncertainty is ill-thought as the first thing that will get done in an independent Scotland is to lower the business tax, which would create business inflow and attract new businesses in Scotland much more than there is at current.

@segano1 I wish Scotland all the best, but I do fear they will be worse off. Even if they could run at the same level as at present, if indepenence happened very soon, there is still the matter of North Sea Oil - which is a finite resource and will run out. What will they do when that happens?
EnglishChannel1 3 weeks ago
@EnglishChannel1 Scottish North Sea Oil resources have still got around 60 years left, it's debatable how much exactly but all estimates place it at around between 40 to 60 years, maybe more, as there is still vast unexplored regions North of Scottish coasts and the Atlantic West coast, Scotland has legal control of all the Atlantic side stretching to Rockall. Plus, by the time it's all dried up which is a long time away, Scotland will more or less be fully self sufficient on renewable energy.

@EnglishChannel1 Con't Of course the Oil is finite, but as the prices are getting increasingly higher, they grow in increased value which may double or even triple their worth in time depending on current market.
England are more interested in the Nuclear trident and the continuing commonwealth for their future, but Scotland will aim more for the North-Eastern regions with Norway and Denmark for Oil and Gas exploration of the North Sea regions and will opt for a 'Nordic model' in terms of Army.
