@yangtheman said his interests are numbers, maps, graphs, etc. He's a smart little boy and got gifts HE liked, not what YOU like.

You know, just because their son isn't into video games and all the stuff a lot of kids are doesn't mean he got bad gifts. He got what he was interested in, he loved the gifts you could clearly see!
So stop judging the parents saying they got him bad gifts when you do not know that child, his interests or that family. I'm sure if he was a little boy who loved football and gameboys he would have got football and gameboy related gifts.
