Wunderboy is a leggy, elegant dark colt by Wamberto who was the 2006 Champion of the KWPN Stallion Show. Here in the US he won the 2007 100 Day Test with an outstanding overall score of 158.78. His dressage index was 168.87 and his jumping index was an impressive 145.15, indicating versatility and athletic ability. He earned perfect 10s for his character and canter, and 8s and 9s for his walk, trot, and rideability. Wamberto's sire Rousseau (Ferro/ Roemer/ Homerus) has become known as a phenomenal producer. From his first four foal crops in the Netherlands, he produced three consecutive KWPN Stallion Licensing Champions. Rousseau competed successfully in dressage and has produced 11 licensed sons, many outstanding performance horses and many top mares. Wunderboy's mother EM Wintermaske is a very special mare who has excelled at everything she has done. She is out of our foundation mare Rubizza by the legendary Rubinstein I and by the successful Grand Prix dressage stallion Weltbekannt. Wintermaske competed through Second Level dressage as a young mare, winning consistently with high scores before becoming one of our most consistent and best broodmares. She was high score Hanoverian mare at her AHS inspection, was a winner in dressage breed show, winning the regional championship for fillies in 2001 and for mares in 2002, with many Grand Championships and also wins in Materiale.
Wunderboy is an elegant dark chocolate beauty, with long legs, three solid gaits, an outgoing and bold temperament. He has light, springy, elastic gaits. He is well handled — leads, loads and is an easy fellow. His price includes registration with AHS and USEF. Price very slightly negotiable to an experienced show home with some young horse experience.
