The rest of the nutrients are absorbed into circulation through the villi. They go through a system of capillaries/ venules/ veins described as "hepatic portal circulation." These nutrient carrying veins from the small intestine eventually end up consolidating into 1 large vein called the hepatic portal vein. From here, the blood enters the liver and is cleared of undesirable stuff and nutrients are picked up by liver cells that need them for doing whatever....Lots of things happen in the liver.
