I'm a big fan of Harrison Barnes talent but there was nothing insane about this. Yawn. He's got much better highlights than this.

Yeah, Ames might not have had depth -- but so what? Between Barnes and McDermott, those two could dominate anybody. They've got a lot of good role players too. Basically, the players they had played their system well. It was no surprise that they went undefeated a second year. My friends and I would kind laugh thinking there isn't a team in the state that was going to get within five points of these guys. Man, people are some serious haters.

@jamestill2000 The Ames starting 5 probably ranks in the top 10 but there is a huge drop off talent wise. Who does ames have outside of Webber, Barnes, Kol and Mcd? the answer is no one. Other than Stu none of the other players would get much if any playing time at any other regular highschool. If your guys heads werent so far up barnes ass you would realize ames has no DEPTH.

I'm no taking anything away from last years team. Obviously they were better. But that alone isn't reason enough to say that this years team doesn't deserve to be there(the rankings). Undefeated 2 years in a row, yeah they deserve to be there. You act like the CIML is weak is something.

Haha... ya its all about publicity their buddy. Ames has barnes and there undefeated ofcourse there going to have them high. Do you not agree ames was much better last year? If not your the first person that I've heard that thinks that way.
