Just to note: NEVER use 7.62x25 Tokerov in a C96, the high pressure loads of the round will blow the receiver and chamber apart and probably into the face of the shooter.
I have a C96, in 7.63 Mauser, and she is an absolute beauty. I can't wait until I can take her to the range and get a video of her in action.

I would love to fire and own a c96.

Always liked the old Mausers ^___^ (but, I'm the kinda person who would rather have four $250 guns than one $1000 gun ^^; )

My brother has two of these, one has the extended barrel. I believe it's the artillary model. Needless to say, I always get gun envy when he shows them off.

@Panzerzimmerpflanze it wasnt D:

@JagerSH3 haha have you done it? most of the surplus stuff floating around was made for the PPSh so even in a CZ 52 its crazy (been there, done that). Definitely not something you'd put in a beaut like the C96, unless you want to lose an eye/waste $1000+

@JagerSH3 is ur mauser an automatic or semi?

It's so cool!

@ermaslv44 I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that wasn't an insult.

... I have a gun license. What would a C96 Mauser cost in Eire or in the UK?

Couldn't tell ya - not in the UK. Most I've seen are in the $1000 and up range. $1000 is the lowest I've seen them, and it was rough.

P.S. I could probably just search wikipedia, but what's the deal with owning semi auto pistols in the UK? Or any pistols for that matter? It's a fair PITA isn't it?

prety cool!!why you fix the rear sight to 300 yards?

Can't remember. Sadly, I don't own it, but I think the recoil was ramping up the rear sight every time she shot, because I remember having it end up at the full elevation after 10 fast supported shots... Very cool guns to see taken down. One screw in the whole darn thing, and it's in the grip.
