Phil Kelsall at the Wurlitzer and Chris Hopkins at the Wersi Louvre, 'changing over' with the dance the 'Caribbean Calypso'.
This video shows the excellent working relationship between both Phil and Chris at the Tower Ballroom, who quite often choose dances other than the traditional ballroom waltz for their changeover.

wow this is amazing!!!! I have never seen the changeover done to anything apart from the traditional ballroom waltz. Its a big eye opener.

Chris and Phil have more recently adopted different 'changeover' dances apart from the traditional waltz, including the slow foxtrot, and on occasion, even a cha cha cha !
