F bipolar but this movie makes it look cool which is kinda nice. I just got out of the mental hospital when this came out and it really helped. PS there's bipolar delusion people all over YouTube. If uve had a delusion you know what I'm talking about. I feel bad for them. If you understand look at bieberskingofmusic 's channel his stuff is totally what delusions look like...maybe try to reach that kid...not sure I did (PS that handle he uses is just to "reach a young audience" to warn them....

I seen this and it brought me to tears because I myself suffer from this mental illness and its tough going through life being 30 yrs old and suffering from bipolar disorder or known as maniac depression.. It's a life struggle for me but I just thank god everyday I wake up.. I'm hoping that this disease gets looked into more and that more advanced treats can be diagnosed.. My hat goes off to mr de Niro and Bradley cooper for casting in this movie.. Millions of people suffer from this I'm one

They can't sleep. They feel invincible and super smart. No drugs to keep them awake, but they'll stay awake for 3 or 4 days. This is bi-polar. Then it's sleep time and when they wake up, the world is coming to an end, they want to die. THIS IS BIPOLAR. Some start taking drugs to cope with it. Once addiction sets in on someone bipolar..suicide is an easy fix for them. They feel they can stop the merry go round by suicide. They touched on it in the movie, staying up all night..but not enough

I have bipolar disorder in my family. So many do. What impacts you is that you relate to the victim - how much they depend on the right balance of medication, how ashamed and guilty they feel when they're not in control of their minds yet retain the intelligence to see themselves out-of-control yet unable to do anything about it.
