I just ordered Live at the old Quarter via Amazon and I'm now countin down the days till i get that 2 Cd set !! Townes I wish I had the chance to be in your presence....

I fell in love with TVZ the first time I heard his voice in 1975 and I still am moved by his songs today.

maybe van gogh could have used more purple/red/green/blue. Maybe you could realize that art created is very, very far from you and only available for appreciation. You can make a cover band if you're so inclined and then replace as you like. Leave yourself out of this art...please.

i think the flute fits the song nicely. i don't really see the need for three guitars though



Townes is so cool... Just a real guy, that happens to be a genius. The backup band is hoaky, he is best listened to by himself. (In my opinion) If you like him, check out...

@hibobb123456 I agree. Thats why Live and the Old Quarter is by far his best album (of many great ones). Its only Townes, his guitar and a small respectful audience.
