  • My GO train used to meet up with the Maple Leaf every morning at Oakville station when I worked in downtown TO. I never knew Amtrak operated in Canada before that.

  • Nice! I never knew that Amtrak operated in Canada until this year! Unfortunately, the bridge the Maple Leaf uses may be discontinued soon.

  • @dan9325 not true dan tweedle

  • Amtrak has been operating the Maple Leaf in Toronto since 1980's

  • @lexmarks567 The other problem is that the MCRR bridge has no track on it at Niagra Falls also the line to the south was trashed to build the casino.

  • if the maple leaf is discontinued which i don't think it will sense the bridge is undergoing repair according the bridge commissions website.even if it is there are still2 other amtrak trains that go to canada the cascades(seattle to vancouver) and the Adirondack(new york city to Montreal)

  • that is going be awesome is rail runner runs 9 cars lol they run 5 currently
