@1995MattyD if its an option car companies will abuse it and make it cost 10 grand. Seatbelts save lives and are mandatory. The only reason car companies use them is because they have to, if they really cared about our safety they would have a harness instead of a useless belt. I say make them mandatory.

@1995MattyD yea rollcages should be mandatory.

Don't forget Craig Breen

oh hang on now im not arguing with you im just debating a point.kris meeke is very good but lets face it if he was very good he would be winning world championships..........but his not seb is once again world champion cos he is the best.
-
i couldn't be bothered to argue with you any more, you should probably read my above comment again and think about it again. but for the mean time you should watch keith cronin and kris meeke, they have won nearly everything they put their mind to. keith cronin would be just as quick as sebastien ogier in the same car.

mmmmmmmmmmm yea well all these drivers you mention are are has beens and none have ever won the world rally champion ship and as we all know if you dont win that you havent won anything.some of these drivers have tryed there luck on the international scene but all have failed.they cant compete on any scale compared to top world rally drivers.its kinda like if hurling was a world wide sport kilkenny wouldnt win a championship.irish can only bet irish but once we leave ireland we loose....
-
I think the men who are international champions do well, but these natinal champions are well behind them, yes
-
good question is he i dont know to be honest...but lets be honest with each other here being irish champion of any sport means nothing cos as we all know irish dont do well at sports in general..we would all be champions if it was always a one horse race..
what about billy coleman, keith cronin, andrew nesbit, eugene donnelly, kris meeke, adam carroll. keith is british rally champion, meeke won the intercontinental rally challenge and adam carrol is a1 gp champion, billy coleman bet the best of the best when they came on irish soil, its just money that holds most of them back

the reason why kris meeke is not in the wrc is because the global downturn. sure the 2003 world champion petter solberg is even having trouble trying to compete, new drivers wont be taken on for over 2 years and i would say if there was any vacancies in it , kris meeke, keith cronin and craig breen would be on a list to take the whell of a few cars for manufacturers.
