1979 independent documentary portrait of Gustave Ridley. A film by Gary Kaskel.

Gus Ridley was a septuagenarian philosopher and guru teaching the philosophy of George Gurdjieff (1877-1949), who lived in Southern California, and claims to have read 20,000 books and smoked pot every day since 1936. [Gus lived until the year 2000, age of 92.]

Filmed in 1979, The Gus Film was an official selection at Los Angeles FILMEX 1980.
