Peace Pipe (TVS3)

Written by Norrie Paramor, 'Peace Pipe' was featured in the 1961 film 'The Young Ones' and released by Cliff Richard & The Shadows on the movie soundtrack album. I recorded a version of this tune a couple of years ago, but wanted to try it again with my '57 Reissue Stratocaster, TVS3 echo unit and Vox AC15H1TV amplifier. This video was recorded in HD with my iPhone.

I would like to say that you played this one very very good ! i really enjoy it, one of the greatest shadows tunes and i always wanted this kind of Echo\delay....still dont have it, if you know where can i find i would appreciate if you would tell me

Thanks for your kind comments. I actually think my second version of Peace Pipe is better. The best echo unit for this type of sound is either a TVS3 echo, which is quite expensive, or one of several echo units that can be programmed with Charlie Hall's excellent 'Echoes from the Past', usually referred to as EFTP.

Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and for your kind comments on this one and The Deer Hunter. The red device is a Line 6 PODxt Pro guitar effects processor. It is part of my rack set-up, but I did not use it to produce the sound for this video.
