Part 2 from Steve Garfield, Karen Rubin and Mike Volpe's presentation on tools for video podcasting. In this part, Steve shows several of the cameras and mikes that he uses. Steve Garfield is one of the earliest video podcasters starting January 1, 2004. The first camera he shows is a Cannon S400 that he used for 2 1/2 years. The next camera is a Nokia N95 cellphone that he uses with Qik.. The trick is to know where the mike is so you can get good sound. For streaming on cameras that are not cell phone you can use eyfi card if the camera has a SD card. The next camera is a Flip Mino. It's a very simple camera to use with it's flip share software. The next camera is a Panasonic FX37, it has a larger view finder and shoots with a wide angle. This make it so you can shoot a little closer to your subject and get better sound.
